Onboarding Walkthrough

Onboarding takes around five to ten minutes the first time. Every screen is editable later, so do not stress about getting it perfect.

1. The quiz (level)

Seven short questions about your experience with BDSM, your comfort with equipment, and your sense of where you are. The Domina's planner uses your level to scale difficulty.

  • The result is a number from 1 (Novice I) to 10 (Master).
  • You can accept the suggested level or override it by one step in either direction.
  • You can change it again later in Profile.

2. Fetish Map

The full curated fetish list, grouped by category. For each entry you tap, you set an interest level:

  • 0 (default) - not for me right now.
  • 1 - Curious - I'd try it.
  • 2 - Like - I enjoy this.
  • 3 - Love - this is my thing.

It is fine to leave most entries at 0. Pick what you actually want now; add more later.

3. Hard Limits

A separate screen showing the same curated list. Tap any entry to mark it as a hard limit. Hard limits are absolute - they override every interest level, every session, forever.

  • It is fine to leave the list short or empty if there is nothing you hard-limit yet.
  • You can add and remove items at any time.
  • Common defaults to consider are in Hard Limits.

4. Safe Word

Pick a word the Domina will respect. The screen offers a few suggestions (Crimson, Anchor, Pineapple, Marigold, Solstice) but you can use anything memorable.

  • Avoid "stop" and "no" if those appear in scenes you want to keep.
  • Avoid words you might say in chat normally.
  • Short is good. One syllable is fine.

The safe word is shown on the Safe Word button during every session, in case you forget what you picked.

5. PIN setup

The most important screen in onboarding.

  • Pick a 4-6 digit PIN.
  • Confirm it.
  • Acknowledge the warning: if you forget the PIN, your encrypted data (fetishes, hard limits, inventory, custom Domina, chat messages, safe word) cannot be recovered.
  • The PIN is never sent to the server. It is used client-side to derive an encryption key.

6. Profile

A short profile screen for display name, age (single number, 18+), gender (optional), and anatomy notes (optional). These shape how the Domina refers to you and what she proposes.

7. Dashboard

You are in. The dashboard shows your active Domina, today's session quota, recent activity, and a button to start chatting.
