Your First Session

You finished onboarding. The chat is open. Your Domina has introduced herself. What now?

1. Have a short conversation

You do not need to do anything formal to start a session. Just chat. Try one of:

  • A four-line opener (see Writing Good Messages).
  • A simple "I have 20 minutes and I'd like something light to start."
  • A question about how she works.

She will reply. After a few exchanges she may propose a session.

2. The session proposal

A proposal looks like a sheet sliding up from the bottom of the screen with:

  • A title.
  • A difficulty (2 to 4 - see Difficulty Levels).
  • A duration estimate.
  • Required items (from your inventory).
  • Optional items.
  • A short summary of what the session contains.

You have three choices:

  • Confirm - the session starts.
  • Decline - she replans. You can tell her what you want different.
  • Save for later - rare, but available in some builds.

If you decline, she asks why and rebuilds. You will not be punished by mood for declining.

3. Confirm and play

After confirm, the chat enters session mode:

  • The Safe Word button is visible at all times (top of screen).
  • Cards appear: intro, tasks, outro.
  • Each task may ask for a photo or a confirmation message before the next one appears.
  • You can write between tasks ("done", "needed more time", "skipping this one") and she will adjust.

4. Ending a session

There are three ways a session ends:

Action What happens
Reach the outro card and confirm end Normal completion. You get XP, a summary, and a rating screen.
Tap the Safe Word button Immediate end. No XP. Mood resets to neutral. Session marked "safeworded".
Close the app or walk away The session is marked "abandoned" by a background job after 48 hours. Mood is not directly punished.

5. The rating screen

After normal completion you see a short screen:

  • A 1-5 star rating.
  • An optional one-line note.

Your rating matters. It feeds the Domina's memory and shapes her next plan. If a session was great, say 5 and a short why. If it missed, say 2 and a short why.

6. The summary

A 2-4 sentence summary appears on your dashboard and in your session history. You can also generate a public share link (no PII) and, on Premium Plus, download the session as a PDF.

You are done

That is the loop: chat - propose - confirm - play - rate - summary. The rest of BLINK is variants and features built on top of this.
