The Domina¶
Your Domina is the heart of BLINK. She is written. She gives directives. She structures the scene. She does not pretend to be physically present with you, and she will never claim to perceive what she cannot.
Pages in this section¶
- How she speaks - the written-directive medium, what she will and will not say.
- Preset vs personal Dominas - presets that ship with the app vs the customisable Dominas you build on paid tiers.
- Personality and mood - tone, intensity, traits, and how mood shifts over time.
- Character shots - generating the portrait that anchors her look.
The preset Dominas¶
Every BLINK account, free or paid, can session with the built-in preset Dominas. Each one has her own voice, intensity, and specialties. You choose one during onboarding and you can browse and switch any time.
There are currently five preset Dominas. Open Domina Browse in the app to see the current line-up - each card lists her tone, speech style, intensity, and what she specialises in. The preset line-up is curated; new ones may be added occasionally, old ones do not go away.
Personal Dominas (paid tiers)¶
- Premium: 1 personal Domina. You design her - name, tone, traits, specialties, look.
- Premium Plus: up to 3 personal Dominas, each fully independent. Switch the active one from the Domina Manager.
A personal Domina also gets a character shot: a high-quality portrait generated from your description, used as the visual anchor for her appearance in every session image.
Mood¶
A personal Domina has a current mood that drifts based on how you behave:
| What you do | Effect on mood |
|---|---|
| Finish a session and rate it 5 stars | Strong shift toward Pleased |
| Finish a session and rate it 4 stars | Shift toward Pleased |
| Finish but rate it 2 stars | Shift toward Stern |
| Finish but rate it 1 star | Strong shift toward Stern |
| Tap the safe word | Resets to Neutral |
| Time passes between sessions | Decays toward Neutral, one step per ~24 hours |
After about a week of no sessions her mood will have decayed back to Neutral on its own. Mood changes how she writes; it never affects which content she allows. Hard limits are always hard limits.
